Are driveways included?
Private driveways are not included as part of the purchase. Lots are being sold as undeveloped land. If you are interested in additional contracted services for the installation of private driveways or lot clearing, please contact us as we can do this for you at a discounted rate.
Are there any building restrictions?
Riverwood does not have any specific restrictions on building, however all development must meet City requirements.
When can I start building?
You may begin construction on your property once the purchase transaction has closed.
We are planning to have the subdivision energized with Hydro One in August 2024. Power for each lot will be made available at the lot boundary.
Are City sewer and water services available?
There are no City sewage or water services available at our location. Each property will require its own independent services. Septic fields and water wells are typical in the area.
Is high-speed internet access available?
We are working with Bell to bring the latest high-speed internet access to the subdivision. We will be one of the first neighborhoods in the area to have pure fibre to the premises. As an alternative, Starlink also provides satellite internet service in the area.
How does the private water access lot (Block A) work?
All purchasers of Riverwood lots will also be part owners of the land designated as "Block A", which runs from our cul-de-sac to the Winnipeg River. A private road will be available and residents may use it to access the waterfront. Any future development on "Block A", such as docks or slips, would be a decision made through a vote of the owners.
